Hello, I'm Lucy and I run Dearest Violet Eiderdowns.  The name for my small enterprise came from my dearest mum, who's middle name was Violet...Joyce Violet Vincent Street to be precise. 

Each eiderdown is handmade and filled by me in my Devon studio. I use the best quality fabrics, feather & down and strong threads to produce an eiderdown that will stay warm and plump.  Fully lined so you won't lose feathers and piped to create a timeless classic eiderdown that will last for generations. 

As the great Victorian designer, William Morris said "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful".  Well I think that sums up my eiderdowns very well...both useful and beautiful.
